Amsterdam Pirates comes from behind against Hoofddorp Pioniers

League-leader L&D Amsterdam Pirates trailed 2-0 after five innings on Thursday-evening (May 18), but then rallied for three runs in the sixth inning to win its opener against Hoofddorp Pioniers, 4-2.

With the win, Amsterdam extended its winning streak to seven games.

Amsterdam outhit Pioniers 11-5, including two triples by Linoy Croes. Eight of the nine Amsterdam-players hit at least one basehit.
