Tenerife Marlins centerfielder Lesther Galvan is off to a torrid start at the plate against opposing Spanish Division De Honor pitchers. The 27-year-old leads the league with a .487 batting mark (19-for-39) with seven doubles, three homers and 15 RBIs in 10 games.

Another red-hot hitter, Heidenheim Heidekoepfe catcher Simon Guehring, is batting .486 and leads the German Baseball-Bundesliga with 18 hits. One of the first German minor league players after Germany reunited, the 33-year-old slugger has also tallied five two-baggers, three home runs and 11 RBIs in eight games.

American import pitcher Ryan Bollinger (3-0) has been dominant thus far this season. The 26-year-old Californian has allowed only one run over 30 innings with 46 strikeouts and two walks to help the Haar Disciples claim six wins in their first eight games.
